Every March Valencia gets ready to welcome the spring. People from all over the world are coming to Valencia to celebrate their most international fiesta together with the Valencian People. It is definitely a festival you should experience once in your life.
Las Fallas will officially start on the last Sunday of February, the 28th with the beginning party called ´La Crida´ at the Torres de Serrano. During the day there are several activities such as live music and at 20:00 there will be spectacular fireworks to start of the festival.
Every day from the 1th of March until the 19th of March at 14:00 there is ´Mascletà´, which means that there are spectacular fireworks at the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
Another exciting part of the Fallas week is the flower offer which is called ´L´Ofrena de Flores´. This will take place on the 17th and 18th of March at the Virgen de los Desamparados. Thousands of people march towards this square to bring the flowers and make the Virgen out of it.
One of the main events The Nit del Foc (Night of Fire) the 18th of March is also an evening you can´t miss during Las Fallas. On this evening the biggest firework show will be held in the Paseo de la Alameda. If you´re in Valencia, you can´t miss this evening.
To every festival comes an end. Las Fallas will end with ´La Crema´ on the 19th of March. La Crema will start with a fire parade of all the Ninots made of wood and styrofoom. In the evening all of the Ninots will be burned, which gives an incredible view. This will go on until midnight.
